What has the director done before?
Matthew Vaughn seems to have more producer credits than he does directing credits, acting as a producer for films such as Layer Cake, Snatch and Stardust. Admittedly, he did also direct Layer Cake, he is probably most well-known for directing Kick Ass, X-Men First Class and the previous Kingsman: The Secret Service. Matthew Vaughn seems to have a knack for directing action blockbusters with a quirky twist of fantasy, perhaps with Kingsman: The Golden Circle the restrictions on his creativity were loosened, which resulted in a mesh of action, multiple storylines and Oscar-winning actors and actresses.

Watch Kingsman: The Golden Circle in the cinema or watch on DVD?
Kingsman: The Golden Circle is definitely worth watching in the cinema as it is a rollercoaster film full of colour and action that will delight your inner 14-year old. However, Kingsman: The Golden Circle would also be quite good to have on DVD as it has a nearly two-hour runtime and no co-he rent storyline so you can literally dip in and out and still be entertained.

Was Kingsman: The Golden Circle actually funny?
The mature Oxford-educated movie critique in me would like to say that it was full of crass jokes that were void of intelligence. However, Kingsman: The Golden Circle wasn’t made for Oxford-educated movie critiques it was probably made for 14-year-old teenage boys and previously being one myself, I know that they can be quite funny. There are a few jokes in there that did actually make me giggle/cringe that some people might consider crude which adds to the shock factor of the film.

Was Kingsman: The Golden Circle thrilling?
I could barely explain the storyline to another person, there are so many twists and turns and changes of pace from sad to kick ass action. This lack of consistency makes the film interesting and definitely not boring.

Was Kingsman: The Golden Circle as bad as the critics’ say?
Critics are divided by the film some raving about the action scenes and some panning the crazy storyline and smutty sexism. I would say that the film left me divided it’s not exactly bad, but it is not exactly good either if anything it left me feeling a bit nauseous. Kingsman: The Golden Circle is like a rollercoaster exciting and thrilling at first but nauseous at the end.
